Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Technician

Technical services to Krakatau POSCO blast furnace
One of two technicians per shift covering one blast furnace plant in a 24/7 production setting.
Shift and daytime work included inspections, preventive/predictive maintenance, instrument calibration and loop checks, alongside support for machine PCs, operator workstations and HMI application issues.
I assisted Siemens PLC and Level 2 HMI troubleshooting under supervision during on-the-job training. Specialist issues were escalated to plant IT.
I also supervised two to five outsourced maintenance workers, coordinated permits to work with plant staff, and maintained SOPs, inspection records and shift handovers under formal change control.
Achievement: First place, team category, plant K3 toolbox meeting competition.
